Defense Planning and Analysis Society Conference on "Planning for
Future Air Force Warfighting Systems…Opportunities and Challenges"
on 12-13 June 2001 at the David H. Ponitz Conference Center, Sinclair
Community College, Dayton OH. Planning for future Air Force warfighting
systems is a joint Air Force-industry enterprise and the Dayton DPAAS
Chapter has joined with Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command in co-hosting this conference to allow
attendees to receive information on critically-important Air Force
strategic and modernization planning initiatives.
The morning of the first day sets the stage by describing the operating
command customers' perspective. The afternoon outlines how AFMC is
organizing and conducting itself to be responsive to operator needs.
Immediately following, there will be a social hour
with relevant exhibits and demonstrations. Dinner with remarks by AFMC Vice Commander, Lt Gen Charles H. Coolidge, Jr., will conclude the
first day. The second day provides updates on selected,
priority planning efforts from organizations across AFMC.
