The DPAAS concept was formulated as a joint government and
industry venture to promote continued efforts to improve the processes
associated with providing quality support in this vital national area.
In April 1995, the DPAAS was
officially formed. Paperwork was submitted as a non-profit organization
in the State of Ohio. The chapter held an inaugural ceremony in the TASC
Main Conference Room in Beavercreek Ohio. The chapter consisted of 40
paid individuals. It also included five Corporate Sponsors: (Frontier
Technology, ARINC, TASC, MTL and Questech).
Since April 1995, the DPAAS has grown
to over 150 members in 8 states. The Dayton Chapter is now becoming the
nucleus for the National DPAAS Chapter. There are now 10 Corporate
Sponsors.
